Mountain Beats DJ co have entertained guests at over 700 weddings and events in the South Island of New Zealand. We’ve been so fortunate to be part of weddings and events for people from all over the world. Our collective of DJs, Musicians and MCs have performed at everything from backyard parties to entertaining hundreds at corporate events.

We’re the most referred and preferred DJ and Entertainment service for multiple venues, event planners and coordinators in Queenstown and Wanaka.
On top of all of that, we love our job and are always working to improve what we can deliver and offer for our clients.

 SAX

Adding a live sax player to our DJ options has become really popular. It bridges the gap between DJ and live band and adds dynamics and extra excitement to your dancefloor or canapé set. BASE CAMP 3 Hr Package

The Base Camp Package is our 3 hour reception dance-floor package. For when you simply need a great DJ to finish off the your wedding day!

PA & LIGHTING included

LAKE ALTA Half Day Package

The Lake Alta Package is our half-day package, for when you are looking for a DJ who can provide music and audio solutions from the start of your reception all the way through to the end of the night. We can cue entrance music for the bridal party, curate and collaborate on dinner playlists and operate wireless microphones for speeches. We can source any special music you need and even create custom edits of key songs ie First Dance.

AORAKI Full Day Package

The Aoraki Package is our full-day package, for when you are looking for a DJ who can provide music and audio solutions for your entire day. From creating the perfect mood before the ceremony, to keeping things vibing through cocktail hour, picking the perfect dinner playlist and of course closing the night with a fun energetic dance party.

The Aoraki includes all the coverage of our half day package, plus coverage for the Ceremony & Canapés.

I was soo stoked at how you happily provided musical support for all the various performers in our family and helped create some of the most magical moments of the whole event. The organising and logistics that we and others did with you were completely painless.. even throwing on you impromptu raps, and singalongs at the last minute. there was nothing out of place. We honestly had the best night of our lives and we couldn’t have come close to that without you so thank you times a million. Thank you for putting together a fire dance floor mash. Thank you for providing appropriate backing for all the talent in their various performances. Thank you for being so easy to work with at a such super stressful time for us. Thank you for having fun with it and putting up with all the drunken requests. Thank you for doing all the things you did that we were unaware of!

Most of all, thank you for being a part of our special day! You were easily one of our best investments for the wedding and worth every New Zealand dollar! I sincerely hope next time we are in NZ we can thank you in person!

We left our wedding planning until the very last second and booked two weeks out from our wedding. Joe was the absolute best! He is so laid back and really got the vibe we wanted at the wedding, there was not a moment when the dance floor was empty, we loved every minute of it!
He completely made our day! All of the guests said how much they enjoyed his music and he had everyone dancing, even my mum, who never dances!
Somehow he managed to play The Ramones right through to some EDM bangers and still had everyone partying!
